Mike P. Sturdivant III
Mike P. Sturdivant III, who has served on Staplcotn’s Board since 1992, was elected to the position of Chairman of the Board at the September 17th annual meeting of Staplcotn. Sturdivant replaces Woods Eastland, who retired after presiding as Chairman since 2010.
Sturdivant, who farms in Glendora, Mississippi, has a proven track record of leadership and success in the farming industry as well as other industries. He serves as a director of the Boy Scouts of America’s Chickasaw Council, Vice President and Director of the Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital of Jackson, and is a Delegate to the National Cotton Council and Past President of Delta Council. Sturdivant is also a former Director and Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Memphis.
